Jonathan Steyn

Jonathan is Hackabby's Founder & CEO and a senior CISO-level technology and cybersecurity professional with more than 30 years of industry experience spanning consulting, major-project delivery, technical implementation, cybersecurity, information governance, solution delivery and project management.

His background combines executive security governance with hands-on technical work across incident response and digital forensics, penetration testing, breach and attack simulation, security analysis, identity and access management, application and web security, secure SDLC practices, SAST/DAST, Debricked software-composition analysis (SCA), AI-assisted security analysis, cyber/code forensics and enterprise security implementation. His technology experience includes work across OpenText and identity-security ecosystems, Okta-aligned implementations, and Palo Alto security technologies and training.

He leads Hackabby's security architecture, GRC, compliance, offensive-security, DFIR, data-security and implementation practices while working with a multi-disciplinary team of hands-on testers, consultants and vendor-aligned specialists.

Marcel Geyer

Marcel combines technical cybersecurity capability with sales and client engagement experience. His developing specialisation includes penetration testing, automated security validation, Attack Surface Management and Breach and Attack Simulation technologies.

He supports technical implementation, proof-of-value engagements, vulnerability assessment, security testing and client technical support.

Rev. Wisdom Mawuse

Rev. Wisdom Mawuse supports Hackabby as a senior consultant and sales professional with a particular focus on the KwaZulu-Natal region.

He brings experience in client engagement, vendor acquisition, solution development and project implementation, strengthening Hackabby's regional relationships and delivery capability.

Jessica Steyn

Jessica leads Hackabby's national sales operations, helping translate the company's cybersecurity capabilities into trusted, long-term client relationships. She supports sales strategy, opportunity development, customer engagement and the coordination of day-to-day sales activities across the business.

In addition to driving sales performance, Jessica supports staff management and human-resources coordination, helping maintain an organised, people-focused operating environment. She is also a philanthropist and the Founder & CEO of the Purple Butterfly Foundation, reflecting her strong commitment to community support, service and social impact.
